Wednesday 4 March 2026 Orange Class - Somerset Heritage Trust 4th March 2026 We had a lovely visit on Wednesday 4th March from Somerset Heritage Trust to teach us all about the Great Fire of London. We learnt about how the fire started, and all the important people of the time like Samuel Pepys and Thomas Farriner. We had a chance to try out how they used to put the fires out with a bucket, we tried writing with a quill and we dressed up as bakers, firemen and King Charles.

Thursday 26 February 2026 Orange Class - Making Porridge! On Thursday 26th February, as part of our English unit, we used instructions to make porridge.

Tuesday 27 January 2026 Orange Class - Commotion in the Ocean Today, Mrs Sherrard started the day with an assembly about water and the recent rainfall which has caused lots of watery problems! She encouraged us all to embrace our theme of water so we decided to do some artwork based on our English book , Commotion in the Ocean. We used stamps to creates our ocean background, cut out and decorated ocean creatures that we found in our book, and finished off our design with tissue paper to create bubbles and seaweed.

Monday 19 January 2026 Orange Class - Service Dog Visit Today we had Ferris the service dog visit us with his owner Brian. Brian explained the work that Ferris does, and how important it is to his health and well-being. As a class, we learnt that we do not engage with a service dog when they have theirs special red jacket on. However, if the owner has removed their jacket, then they love a cuddle ( with the owners permission).
