Blue Class - Happy New Year

Happy New Year from Blue Class!

Blue Class has had a wonderful start to the spring term.

In our first week, we had the opportunity to work with Sean in our first ever cricket session in year 4. We braved the cold and went outside to develop our throwing skills. We loved working as a team to hit the blue targets of the blue planets. Our under arm accuracy developed throughout the session.

To start our science unit of states of matter, we discussed the properties of solids, liquids and gases. In groups, we sorted different materials into these three categories. We had great fun in the hall learning and exercising.

The week concluded with an art session looking at landscapes through a view finder. We loved looking at a range of famous artists and the settings in the start of our vista unit.
