Little Learners Blog
Welcome to Little Learners Blog 2025-2026 -
This page will be updated regularly showing you what fun and exciting things the children have been up to.
November 2025
November started with Remembrance Day, doing lots of activities involving paint, rice and shredded paper. We all joined in with the whole school for the 2 minute silence.
We did some activities for Children in Need.
As the weather was nice, we spent time outside playing with the babies and the mud kitchen. We enjoyed balancing on the stepping stones.
We enjoyed a week of Gruffalo themed activities - we read the story, did yoga, explored the animal characters and practised pencil control.
To finish off November, we have had a week of Space themed activities.

For a week we were looking at colours so played with lots of toys which were the same colour. We made a big Elmer the Elephant, relating to the story when he made himself grey with berries, but we also made colourful Elmers to go around him.

We also made a display with all our hands when we talked about friendships and being kind to one another.
We have been talking about autumn and hibernation. Mrs Hannam brought in her pet tortoise, Dave, before he goes into hibernation for the winter. We made some bread dough and made hedgehog rolls, which was a little messy!

We picked the apples and pears from the tree in the garden, which was lots of fun, and we joined in with the whole school Harvest assembly.
